Lag B'Omer in Lubavitch, 5666

אין בין געקומען אין ליובאַוויטש אויף ל"ג בעומר תרס"ו. דעם מאמר וספרתם, פ' אמור, האָט אדמו"ר זי"ע געזאָגט סטאָלאָווע (עס צימער). אויף שרייבן זכרונות פון ליובאַוויטש האָט מען געדאַרפט האָבן דעם טאַלאַנט פון מאָלן אויף לייוונט, זיין אַ חודאָזשניק, נאָר איך וועל זיך פראווען אויפן פּאַפּיר אָפּמאָלן
I came to Lubavitch for Lag B’Omer in 5666 (1906). The Rebbe said the maamar beginning U’sfartem, Parshas Emor, twice: once on Shabbos in the small study hall, and on Lag B’Omer in the dining room of his home.
To record one’s memories of Lubavitch one must have the talent to paint on a canvas — to be an artist. I’ll just try to portray on paper three moments from the Rebbe.
